Grup Electronic Cheat Codes Rilis Single Kolaborasi Bersama Russel Dickerson Berjudul “I Remember”

Ladiestory.id - Trio dengan multi-platinum hits Cheat Codes, yang terkenal dengan single sukses mereka “No Promises'' (feat. Demi Lovato), terjun ke dunia music country dengan album debut mereka “One Night in Nashville - Presented by the Cheat Codes”. Album ini merupakan upaya terbaru mereka, yang sebelumnya telah mengeluarkan banyak rekaman dalam genre electronic dance, pop dan alt rock. Album ini menyusul kesuksesan trilogy Hellraisers yang dirilis secara independen.

Salah satu track dari HELLRAISER Part 3 ini, saat pembuatannya membutuhkan vocal. Band pun mengirimkan lagu tersebut ke Litte Big Town. Saat track selesai, mereka mendengarkan vocal yang begitu kaya dengan suara yang penuh perasaan. Di situlah dasar untuk album country telah ditetapkan. 

“We had set out to make a dance song and the vocals were so right it just made sense.  We didn't know if anyone would want to do this with electronic artists but we found that they were just as keen to work with us as we were to work with them and that comfort set the tone for the type of album we wanted to make and who we wanted to work with moving forward,” kata Cheat Codes. 

Sejak saat itu, Cheat Codes tidak pernah menyukai lagi ide untuk berada dan terpaku pada satu genre musik.

“We’ve always wanted to be able to experiment, push the envelope, and blur the lines between different types of music,” ungkap Cheat Codes.

Setiap member memiliki pengalaman tersendiri dari music country, hingga akhirnya membuat grup ini ingin membuat lagu dan menjadikannya dalam sebuah album.

“Going to the coolest city ever after us making one song turned into us wanting to make an entire album.  We knew it was a different world musically from the one we lived in but we knew we wanted to be a part of it,” jelasnya.

Sesaat setelah mereka membuat lagu dengan Lee Brice dan Lindsay Ell, kolaborasi pun dimulai dan album pun resmi lahir.

“We felt so comforted and welcomed by them and their audience our collaboration was just so natural.  We were invited to play with them at the 2022 Stagecoach Festival and being embraced by not only them but their fans was such a special feeling we knew we had to do more,” lanjutnya.

Bulan ini, Nashville juga mengirimkan sambutan hangat saat Cheat Codes diundang untuk bermain di Nashville Grand Prix yang terkenal sebagai sebuah pengalaman  seru dan menyenangkan. Berada di Nashville, juga membuka peluang mereka untuk berhubungan kembali dengan kolaborator single pertama mereka dari album country ini, Russel Dickerson.

“Working with Russell Dickerson was like that first sip of an ice cold beer as the suns going down. Jesse Frasure and Russell set the stage perfectly, the second they sent over the chorus we fell in love and knew exactly what we needed to bring this to life,” tutur Cheat Codes.

Russell Dickerson pun membagikan perjalanan kolaborasinya bersama Cheat Codes kali ini, hinggi akhirnya rilis dengan tajuk "I Remember". 

“Jesse Frasure sent me this song and as soon as I heard the chorus I was in. I got together with the writers to finish it and it came together perfectly,” kata Russell.

Lalu bergabunglah Cheat Codes dan mereka berhasil membawakannya dengan sangat baik. Dengan awal yang kuat dan semangat untuk tampil lebih, daftar kolaborator resmi Cheat Codes bertambah dan "One Night in Nashville" sudah resmi lahir.
